Kadapa: BJP asks Centre to help fight for drought

Kadapa: The BJP is requesting the district administration to send reports to the Central government on the drought conditions in the state so that necessary steps could be taken. The BJP cadre on Thursday approached the district collectorates to submit a memorandum.

BJYM president, Nagothu Ramesh Naidu addressed a media conference on Wednesday at Kadapa. With the result of high temperature, the ground water levels were at an unfathomable stage, he said.

The fodder less animals were being sent to the slaughter houses while the villages were experiencing severe water problems he said.

He requested the government to send water to the villagers through tankers.

The mango gardens in Rayalaseema had dried up. Urban area people were getting water once a week.

With all these circumstances, the district administration must prepare a note and send it to the Central government for assistance, he urged.

He alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would lose his lawful right to stay in India with his comments at Bangalore calling the country ‘Dirty India’ and ‘Worst India’.

It was clear that Mr Naidu hated the nation and not just Narendra Modi, Mr Ramesh said.

The BJP leaders Chalama Reddy, Sambasiva Reddy, Pavan and Kandula Srinivasa Reddy participated in the press conference.
