Hyderabad: The online admit card of NEET carried the date of exam as April 15, 2019 creating a lot of confusion in students with some of them thinking that they had missed the date. Coaching centres were inundated with calls from angry parents as to how the date had been missed.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) later made the correction in the online admit card to May 5 when the exam is actually scheduled.
The NTA stated that the admit card was available online from April 15.
The admit card has to be downloaded where the name of the centre, timing and also instructions for the students are given in detail.
The students need to have only admit card, pen and an identity card and a passport size photograph for admission into the computer-based writing centre.
The exam is scheduled on May 5 from 2 to 5 pm and the result will be announced on June 5.
