Shashi Roshan, a friend of the detainee, approached the court after she was not allowed to even speak with Sravanthi at the LB Nagar police station.
Hyderabad: A habeas corpus petition was filed before the Telangana High Court alleging that the LB Nagar police had illegally detained Ms Sravanthi, a resident of Hasthinapur, in the police station and that they were not willing to disclose the grounds of her detention or the nature of the complaint which was filed against her.
Ms Shashi Roshan, a friend of the detainee, approached the court after she was not allowed to even speak with Ms Sravanthi at the LB Nagar police station. Reportedly, all that the police told her was that a former Home Minister's family had filed a complaint against the detainee.
