Hyderabad: 56-year-old man, woman die in separate suicide bids

According to the police the deceased was suffering from paralysis from the past 10 days.

Hyderabad: A 56-year-old man committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of the building he was living in on Wednesday morning under the Medipally police station limits.

The deceased has been identified as Kousaraju Sathyanarayana.

According to the police the deceased was suffering from paralysis from the past 10 days.

“On wednesday around 6.15 am in the morning, disguised over his life the deceased committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of his residence. He was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment at 9.30 in the morning.”

A case has been registered under Section 174 CrPc and further investigation is underway.

Cops have shifted the deceased’s body to Gandhi Hospital’s mortuary for postmortem.

Meanwhile, a 30-year- old housewife hailing from Maharashtra, who migrated to city in search of livelihood, succumbed to the burn injuries which she sustained while she attempted to commit suicide by dousing herself with kerosene five days ago.

Allegedly upset with her husband over an illegal relationship, she took this extreme step.

The deceased has been identified as Samina Parveen Begum.
