Hyderabad: A woman and her husband were caught on camera having a rude face-off with traffic cops last Saturday. The video of the couple arguing and fighting with the cops went viral on social media on Tuesday. The incident occurred on April 14 after the woman was caught riding her two-wheeler without a helmet in the Malakpet area.
According to the police, the woman got angry because she was caught and she tried to escape. A complaint has been lodged against the woman at the police station in Malakpet after which the woman apologised to the traffic cops. Traffic SI Shah Hussain and Home Guard Balaji were the men on duty
Hyderabadis criticized her for her bad attitude and rude behavior towards the traffic cops. Several even appreciated the cops on duty for their patience and professionalism in dealing with the situation.
Anil Kumar, ACP traffic, said, “People and the police took photographs of the woman and the vehicle because she was violating traffic rules. She later returned to argue with the traffic SI who cliked her photo. We did register a complaint, but withdrew it after she apologised to the cops on duty.”
