Hyderabad cops ask realtor to settle' land issue, clip goes viral

Police have been forced to initiate an inquiry into the issue after the clip went viral.

Hyderabad: When law protectors are in cahoots with law breakers, pandemonium reigns specially since evidential proof of the alliance makes it to theccc. One audio clip that is breaking the charts amongst social media virals is that of police inspector S. Muralikrishna of Vanasthalipuram police station and an SI from the same police station in conversation with a realtor, asking him to settle a land issue with a local leader by paying him off as asked. With the clip going viral, higher authorities in the police have been forced to initiate an inquiry into the issue.

The realtor had approached Rachakonda Commissioner at Praja Darbar, after which the petition was transferred to Vanasthalipuram for further inquiry. DCP LB Nagar, Mr. M Venkateswar Rao said ACP Vanasthalipuram would inquire into the issue and submit a report. "As per the report, action will be initiated against the responsible persons", said the DCP.

It all started in 2013 when one Mr S Saireddy approached one Mr Buchireddy for a loan of Rs 20 lakh.

As per the agreement, they made GPA of a six-acre land at Maal in Rangareddy district that was registered on his mother-in-law D Suvarna's name and transferred it to Mr. Buchireddy's name as collateral.

The interest for the loan of Rs 20 lakhs was fixed at 2 per cent. But 15 days after giving the loan,

Mr Buchireddy hiked the interest to 3 percent and demanded that they should return the amount if they could not pay the interest.
