Andhra Pradesh officials appointing staff in PSUs in violation of law: Vijaya Mohan

Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Sector Employees Federation on Monday complained to Chief Secretary S.P. Singh against the Andhra Pradesh government, accusing it of violating the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014 by making fresh appointments in common institutions listed under Schedule IX of the Act.

It brought to the notice of CS that the corporations listed under Schedule IX are run by management boards belonging to AP officials and since they are yet to be bifurcated, the Telangana State officials have no representation on the boards.

Federation chairman S.Vijaya Mohan alleged that the AP officials were taking advantage of this situation and appointing AP-native staff in these institutions.He complained that the AP officials appointed fresh staff in TS Beverages Corporation, TS Technology Services, TSIIC etc in violation of the norms. Mr Mohan demanded CS to conduct an inquiry into the issue.
