Even detective novels fall short, says Chandrababu Naidu

Naidu said that the murder of Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy, the uncle of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, at Pulivendula in his house was strange.

Kakinada: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has called upon the people not to allow a Pulivendula type of factionalism in other places in Andhra Pradesh as such crimes cannot even be found in detective novels. He also urged the people to reject the YSR Congress and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy by not voting for the party. He cited the example of the murder of Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy.

Addressing TD cadre, Mr Naidu said that the murder of Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy, the uncle of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, at Pulivendula in his house was strange. One would not find such a crime even in detective novels. Only in Pulivendula, it was possible. He cautioned that such ‘politics of murder’ would be witnessed in East Godavari and other places, if Mr Reddy was elected.

He alleged that Mr Reddy was making a desperate attempt to blame others, especially the TD, for the murder of his uncle. He said that the murder had occurred in Vivekananda Reddy’s house and an attempt was made initially to cover up the crime.
