KAKINADA: The Deputy Chief Minister and the Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa said that the Telugu Desam would contest the next general elections on its own without alliance with any party. He told the reporters here on Saturday that the TD would win 2019 elections with a huge majority and it would prove the administrative abilities and also image of the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He said that the TD did not gain anything in 2014 elections by forming alliance with BJP and actor Pawan Kalyan. He said that in fact, the TD lost nearly 30 to 40 seats because of the allies in 2014 elections. He criticised Pawan Kalyan’s allegations over the Chief Minister Mr Chandrababu Naidu’s son N.Lokesh, his Cabinet colleague. He asked Mr Pawan Kalyan that had Pawan Kalyan found corruption of Lokesh after four years. He said that Mr Chandrababu Naidu would defeat the designs of the BJP as well as other political parties and win in the elections comfortably.
