No alliance in 2019 polls: Nimmakayala Chinarajappa
KAKINADA: The Deputy Chief Minister and the Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa said that the Telugu Desam would contest the next general elections on its own without alliance with any party. He told the reporters here on Saturday that the TD would win 2019 elections with a huge majority and it would prove the administrative abilities and also image of the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He said that the TD did not gain anything in 2014 elections by forming alliance with BJP and actor Pawan Kalyan. He said that in fact, the TD lost nearly 30 to 40 seats because of the allies in 2014 elections. Now, in the 2019 elections, the TD would emerge as single largest party in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and win 25 Lok Sabha seats from AP.
He criticised Pawan Kalyan’s allegations over the Chief Minister Mr Chandrababu Naidu’s son N.Lokesh, his Cabinet colleague. He asked Mr Pawan Kalyan that had Pawan Kalyan found corruption of Lokesh after four years. He said that Mr Chandrababu Naidu would defeat the designs of the BJP as well as other political parties and win in the elections comfortably. Mr Rajappa said that Mr Chandrababu Naidu was making efforts to provide reservations with commitment and dedication and also implementing several welfare scheme for Kapus and no CM did it previously for the welfare of K.
