K Chandrasekhar Rao orders hall to seat 5,000 in Yadadri
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday asked Yadadri temple authority officials to construct a Kalyana Mandapam with the capacity to accommodate 5,000 people in the temple city. The CM also suggested construction of a huge convention centre with multilevel parking facilities for pilgrims.
Mr Rao, accompanied by wife Sobha and other members, offered silk clothes and prayers to Lord Laxminarasimha Swamy on the occasion of annual Bramhotsavam at the temple.
A group of locals, who are part of 400-odd families to be displaced in the road-widening and other works in Yadadri, met the CM and sought his help. He promised to provide alternative shops and also 2BHK houses for all those who lost their shops and houses in the development of the temple.
