Andhra Pradesh: Simple process, more of businesses
Visakhapatnam: RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant observed National Productivity Week with the theme ‘Ease of Doing Business for Higher Productivity and Sustainable Growth.’
The National Productivity Week celebrations concluded on Wednesday with a presentation and lecture by National Productivity Council (NPC) regional director, B. Hemant Kumar Rao.
The presentation covered broad spectrum of activities taken up by government machinery in the gamut of inviting the investors, entrepreneurs and business houses for mutual benefit, higher productivity and sustainable growth.
RINL executive director, (Works), K.V. Ramana Rao, reiterated the need for simplifying the processes, utilising the information technology to the extent possible without compromising on the quality of process and service.
It was stressed to widely propagate and sustain the momentum generated during the week-long celebrations. The celebrations started with a lecture by Dr Hari Lakshmi, Prof. Venkataramana, of College of Arts, AU, which stressed on the requirement of simplifying procedures and reducing documentation in order to attract more startups and young entrepreneurs for fostering inclusive growth and in turn achieve higher productivity and sustainable growth.
