Mangaluru: 41 engineering students tested positive, college identified as cluster

Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district administration has identified a private engineering college in Belthangady Taluk as cluster after forty-one students tested positive for COVID 19.
Health department officials said that 227 were tested in the college and 41 tested positive. All the students who tested positive are mildly symptomatic and are under isolation.
The number of Covid cases is increasing in Dakshina Kannada district.
Yesterday, a Private Nursing College hostel in Mangalore taluk was identified as cluster after 10 students tested positive.
