New Delhi: Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra on Saturday put to rest the speculation over her contesting the 2019 Lok Sabha polls from Rae Bareli, saying her mother Sonia Gandhi would again be in the fray from the Parliamentary constituency. Rae Bareli is currently represented in the Lok Sabha by outgoing Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
There is a speculation in the media over Priyanka assuming an active role in politics to assist her brother, Rahul Gandhi. “There is no question of me contesting (the 2019 polls)...my mother will contest from there (Rae Bareli),” Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra said.
