K Chandrasekhar Rao move due to Azmeera Chandulal illness

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao may effect a minor reshuffle of his Cabinet, replacing ailing minister Azmeera Chandulal, with Asifabad MLA Kova Laxmi, an Adivasi. Mr Chandulal has not recovered from his kidney transplant. By inducting Ms Laxmi, Mr Rao hopes to quell criticism over the lack of women in the Cabinet, and also address the issue of lack of representation for Adivasis.
