Chandrababu Naidu told to interact with party cadre at headquarter in Guntur
VIJAYAWADA: The Telugu Desam cadre has urged state TD president Kala Venkata Rao to convince party national president N. Chandrababu Naidu to visit the TD headquarters in Guntur weekly once and spend some time with the cadre. The party cadre in fact wish to share their feelings and feedback on several programmes to the party national president directly. This has been a demand for the last few months from the cadre across the capital region.
“We want the national president to spare some time for party workers, activists and cadre of different wings,” one V. Sambashiva Rao from Pedakakani said and added that two new generation workers are eagerly waiting for an interaction with Mr Chandrababau Naidu. He said they have heard about Mr Naidu’s regular interactive sessions with party workers during his early days and even upto 2004.
Coterie around the party national president is not allowing him to meet the people and party workers, another party worker Shaik Ghouse from Vijayawada said and added that even some bureaucrats are also into similar kind of activities. “If it is the case, as to how we can express ourselves before the leader,” youn-ger generation party worker Ghouse asked and added that his father used to meet the national president while he was the Chief Minister during 2003-04.
The corporate hindrances recently entered into the party style of functioning have been disappointing several workers, as they were not able to share their views with the national president at least once in a month. A 72-year-old party worker S. Bhujanga Rao from the capital city felt that healthy interactive sessions with party workers always will boost confidence among them and hence Mr Chandrababu Naidu should look at their humble appeals. The younger generation workers should know the kind of commitment, discipline and working style of Mr Naidu, he felt.
