Kurnool: Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy tries to woo farmers

Promises them support if elected CM.

KURNOOL: YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured employees that he would strive to get compensatory pension scheme repealed and get old pension scheme restored. He consoled the family of one Suresh who had lost their bread winner without even getting a single paise as pension.

The Praja Sankalpa Yatra of Jagan started from Allagadda at about 9 AM and moved towards Pedda Chintakunta, Bagyanagaram, Ramachandrapuram cross roads, Kondapuram, Gopalapuram cross road, Dornipadu village. Jagan was about to address a public meeting at Dornipadu but cancelled it as he had to go to Hyderabad to attend the CBI court.

At Pedda Chintakunta village, he met some farmers who gave him a copy of demands to save farmers from the plight of rural indebtedness. They alleged that none of the crops are being given minimum support price. Jagan assured them that once his party comes to power, he would make the lives of farmers happy as his father did.
