74 Telangana entrepreneurs at Global Entrepreneurship Summit
Hyderabad: Around 74 entrepreneurs from Telangana will be participating in the Global Entrepreneurship summit (GES). Start-ups from other states in India will be participating in the 400 slots reserved for the host country. “The entrepreneurs representing Telangana are start-ups and companies,” said Jayesh Ranjan, IT secretary. Around 800 entrepreneurs from the US and other parts of the world will be attending the summit. The event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 28 along with Ivanka Trump, daughter of the US President. She will be participating in the events on November 28 and 29.
The summit will have sessions, master classes, and workshops by global experts and networking events for start-ups. “On November 29, five annou-ncements will be made related to T-Hub and Uberexchange progra-m-me,” said Jayesh Ranjan. Five of the ten start-ups shortlisted for the Uber-exchange programme are from Hyderabad. The international speakers include Nigerian actress Onyekachi Stephanie Linus Idahosa and Afghan entrepreneur Roya Mahaboob.
