Andhra Pradesh: 2 die waiting to exchange currency notes

VIJAYAWADA/GUNTUR: A 70-year-old woman died of a heart attack while a 67-year-old collapsed and died while waiting in queues to exchange demonetised currency notes in Krishna and Guntur districts on Wednesday.
According to police, K. Vijayalaxmi was standing in a queue at the SBI branch in Vuyyuru, with a Rs 1,000 note when she clutched her chest and collapsed. She was rushed to hospital where the doctors declared her ‘brought dead’.
Polanki Innaiah collapsed and breathed his last while waiting to deposit demonetised currency notes in the Andhra Bank branch at Phiranagipuram of Guntur district. Innaiah was retired employee of the fire department.
