Shah in Hyderabad, meets badminton star P.V Sindhu

Hyderabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Hyderabad on Saturday night and received a warm welcome from Union culture minister G. Kishan Reddy, party national general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar and other senior party leaders.

Shah is in the city to take part in the Government of India’s Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on Sunday morning. The event is scheduled to begin at 8 am.

Shah, who landed at the RGI Airport at Shamshabad, went to the CPRF Sector Officers Mess where he was to spend the night. Soon after his arrival there, Shah met with P.V. Sindhu, the Indian badminton star, her father P.V. Ramana, along with Kishan Reddy. The meeting was part of Shah’s practise of meeting with influencers during his visits to Hyderabad. On his previous visits, he had met with actor Junior NTR, and badminton player P. Gopichand.

Also meeting with Shah, along with Kishan Reddy in a separate meeting were Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Rajya Sabha and BJP parliamentary Board member Dr K. Laxman, BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh, and Rajya Sabha member and Telangana state election incharge Prakash Javadekar.

It is also expected that Shah might meet with more BJP leaders on Sunday after the Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations.
