The Governor said she would soon hold the durbar to meet people.
Hyderabad: Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan is said to have decided to hold praja durbars to interact with the people directly and learn of their problems.
Sources in the Governor’s Secretariat disclosed that Ms Soundararajan was thinking of holding the durbar once in a week after she received a suggestion on Twitter. The Governor said she would soon hold the durbar to meet people.
The Majlis Bachao Tehreek had also asked the Governor to hold the praja durbars as Chief Minister K. Chandra-sekhar Rao was inaccessible to the people.
Sources said the Governor had asked Raj Bhavan officials to make arrangements accordingly and fix the schedule when she could interact with the people.
