Ensure no loopholes in jobs order: K Chandrasekhar Rao to officials
Hyderabad: A day after announcing recruitment to 85,000 government jobs, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday held a high-level meeting with TS Public Service Commission officials and asked them to prepare an action plan to meet the recruitment deadlines.
Mr Rao said vested interests were trying to obstruct the recruitment drive by filing cases and told officials to remain vigilant.
“Consult the law department before issuing notifications. Give no scope for legal cases by issuing notifications without any loopholes. If anyone files cases, be prepared to submit strong arguments before the courts,” Mr Rao said.
Mr Rao said since some job notifications were facing legal challenges, officials should make efforts to submit strong arguments in court.
He asked officials to prepare department-wise action plans on meeting recruitment deadlines.
Commission chairman Ghanta Chakrapani said 5,000 posts were filled and another 12,000 persons would be recruited in a one month.
He said the results of Group-I and II would be released soon since the legal hurdles had been cleared.
