32 files on minister Thomas Chandy's lake palace missing
A team led by municipal engineer Ben Talion started investigation on the constructions.
ALAPPUZHA: As many as 32 files related to the construction of Lake Palace Resort owned by transport minister Thomas Chandy have allegedly gone missing from the municipal office. It came to light when the revenue minister sought a report from the collector about the construction of the resort on Wednesday. The related files of the year 2000 were missing, municipal officials said.
Municipal chairman Thomas Jacob said that some files have gone missing. “We have directed officials to find them immediately. If there is any failure on their part, they will be punished,” said the chairman.
