Mumbai: Union Minister VK Singh’s wife Bharti Singh has lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police alleging that a family friend was blackmailing her with doctored phone conversations, and demanding a sum of Rs 2 crore in return for discretion on his part.
According to reports, Pradeep Chauhan, an acquaintance of the Singh family, allegedly recorded telephonic conversations with the minister’s wife Bharti Singh on August 6, and threatened to post them on social media until the required sum was paid.
