Court seeks Telangana information on surplus land
Harish Kumar, counsel for the revenue department, said the petitioner had not approached the court with clean hands.
Hyderabad: The High Court sought information about more than 210 acres of surplus land in Keesara Dayara, Medchal.
Justice P. Naveen Rao was dealing with a petition by one Ragi Rajeshwar Reddy alleging that 210 acres of surplus land in Survey No.s 166, 167 and 173 to 196 that was surrendered by his family was in the custody of the private persons.
Mr Harish Kumar, counsel for the revenue department, said the petitioner had not approached the court with clean hands. He said the records belong to the petitioner’s family and had remained in their name after the land was surrendered.
