Hyderabad: Three persons of a family including two children were killed in an accident in Ranga Reddy district on Sunday, when their two-wheeler slipped under a heavy vehicle.
The victims were identified as Badraiah, 35, and his sons Vamsi, 10, and Charan, 8, while his wife Saritha sustained severe injuries.
Police said Badraiah, a native of Narsampet in Warangal district, used to work in a poultry farm in Midgil. On Sunday, he and his family were going their way to meet relatives in Talakondapally in Ranga Reddy district.
When they reached Kadthal, Badraiah tried to overtake a tipper and in the process lost control of the two wheeler. The bike slipped under the rear wheels of the tipper. Badraiah and his two sons were killed on the spot. Saritha suffered severe injuries and was taken to hospital where her condition is said to be critical
