Railway signal review held

Focus on meeting targeted schedules for signalling works and advised that funds shall be utilised on time to ensure completion.

Hyderabad: Akhil Agarwal, Director General (S&T), Railway Board, holds a review meeting with signal and telecommunication officials of the South Central Railway at SCR Headquarters, Rail Nilayam, and Secunderabad. The DG called upon officials to take stringent measures towards strengthening signal and telecommunications systems.

He stressed upon improving asset reliability factor for maintaining punctuality of the trains. He also focused on meeting the targeted schedules for signalling works and advised that funds shall be utilised on time to ensure completion without delay.

L.P. Sinha, director, Indian Railway Institute of Signal Engineering and telecommunications; V.M. Shrivastava, principal chief signal and telecommunications engineer and senior officials were also present at the meeting.
