Hyderabad: At sub inspector Prabhakar Reddy’s house Sirisha had sensed danger when she overheard the conversation between the sub inspector, Rajeev and Sravan, who were standing outside smoking.
She understood that the sub inspector was trying to send Rajeev and Sravan away to a brothel in a nearby village so that he can have Sirisha alone in the house.
Sensing danger Sirisha sent a WhatsApp message with location map to her husband seeking help.
“After consuming two pegs of liquor, Sravan, Rajeev and Prabhakar Reddy came outside the room to smoke. When Sirisha also tried to come out of the room the SI stopped her saying that if she was seen by his sentry constable or any other staffer he would be in trouble. While smoking the SI told Rajeev and Sravan that there was a village two kilometres away where sex workers were available and urged them to go there. He told them that he would refer them to a pimp there. But Rajeev did not show interest. Sirisha, who seemed to have heard their conversation sent a WhatsApp message to her husband indicating her Google map location at Kukunoorpally. As the sub inspector continued to prompt Rajeev and Sravan to go to sex workers, she repeatedly send WhatsApp messages to Rajeev also requesting him not to go leaving her alone,” said Hyderabad police commissioner M. Mahender Reddy.
Even after Sirisha started crying for help after the sub inspector tried to molest her, the sub inspector asked the duo to approach sex workers, police officials said.
