Bengaluru: In view of the President’s visit to the city on Saturday to inaugurate the first phase of Namma Metro, the city traffic police have made the following arrangements to ensure free flow of vehicles.
Parking restricted: Old Airport Road (from Suranjandas road to A.S.C centre) - Trinity Church Road (from A.S.C Centre to Trinity Circle) - M.G. Road (from Trinity Circle to Webbs Junction) - Dickenson Road (from Webbs Jn, to Manipal Centre) - Cubbon Road (from Manipal Centre to C.T.O. Circle) - Rajbhavan Road (from C.T.O. Circle to Raj Bhavan Jn.) - Ali Askar Road (from Rajbhavan Junction to Infantry road Jn.) - Infantry Road (from Ali Askar Road to Traffic H.Q. Jn.,) – Queen’s Road (from Traffic HQ Jn., to C.O.T. Circle) - Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Road (from Coffee Board Jn., To K.R.Circle) - Devraj Urs Road (from Basaveswara Circle to M.S.Building) - Vidhana Soudha East Gate (from Exit gate to Grand Steps)
Parking arrangements: Ministers and MLAs can park vehicles at Vikasa Soudha Parking Place at Cellar 1&3 and from Vidhana Soudha West Gate to Dispensary and from Dispensary to Exit gate, while media vehicles and OB vans can be parked at A.G.s Office Parking Place.
Vehicles of Invitees and General Public can be parked at M.S. Building Parking Place, Old K.G.I.D and High Court Parking Place, inside Cubbon Park, on western side of Central Street from Anil Kumble to B.R.V. Junction, Freedom Park parking place, Palace Road (from C.I.D Junction, to Maharani U t urn), both sides of Kasturba Road (from Hudson Circle to Siddalingaiah circle) and western side of K.B. Road (from Siddlingaiagh Circle to Museum)
Traffic curbs: Movement of Vehicles on Devraj Urs Road (from M. S. Building towards A.G.S Jn – both sides) is prohibited from 4 pm to 8 pm.
