Hyderabad: A three months pregnant woman committed suicide at her mother’s residence under the Uppal police station limits.
The victim was identified as P. Kavya, 22, a housewife from Ramnathapur. “The victim got married a year back and her husband started doubting her character and harassed her,” said an officer.
On May 14, her husband called and said that the child was not his. Moved by this, the victim set herself ablaze and died undergoing treatment.
The post mortem of the victim will be conducted Gandhi Hospital and a case under 498(A) and 306 and an investigation is still on in the case confirmed an official.
