Telangana: PG medical colleges fail to honour admission, say doctors
HYDERABAD: Aspirants of admission in PG medical colleges accused college management of not honouring the seats allotted by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), citing old fee structure.
Candidates asked the university to look into the matter as they have been asked to report at the allotted colleges by May 17.
There are 780 PG medical seats in the state across government, private and non-minority colleges.
Dr G. Srinivas, an advisor for Junior Doctor Association, said, “The government should take action against private colleges as they are not accepting admissions even after the High Court order.”
Karunakar Reddy of KNRUHS said, “We will wait for two days and will give a representation to the government for taking a decision.”
