YS Jagan Mohan Reddy complains to Governor against Chandrababu Naidu
Vijayawada: Castigating TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu for his “misuse” of office and being responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy appealed to the Governor to intervene and stop the growing attacks on his party cadre, misuse of state funds and ensure the safe keeping of EVMs.
The leader of the opposition told the media after giving a representation here on Tuesday, “We have lodged a complaint with Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan that Mr Chandrababu Naidu has deployed his henchmen in crucial places to help the TD during the elections and for post-poll violence, and sought his intervention to check the problem. There have been violence and attacks on YSRC cadre as Mr Naidu has given orders to target the Opposition,” he said.
Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao went into a polling booth and locked himself up, provoking violence. Police did not file a case against him but registered cases against YSRC workers, he said.
