Hyderabad: With the decision of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to disband the revenue department, the distance between the state government and revenue employees is widening. The employees on Tuesday held a meeting to discuss the new situation and expressed anger at Mr Rao for calling the revenue department corrupt. They said corruption was present in all departments, not just revenue, and it was not good of Mr Rao to call them corrupt.

Tahsildars’ Association president K. Goutham Kumar and Deputy Collectors Association president V. Lachhireddy said they would conduct a conference on Wednesday with 17 revenue employees’ associations to discuss the future of the revenue department.
