Hyderabad: 22-year-old dies after bike rams into pole

According to the Neredmet police, G. Naga Santosh, 22, an employee at a private company in Koti, was a resident of Lakshminagar in Moula Ali.

Hyderabad: A 22-year-old man from Moula Ali died after he lost control of his speeding bike and rammed into an electric pole at Sainikpuri on Tuesday morning. The deceased had carried his helmet but was not wearing it when the accident took place as he had placed it on the handle of his bike, said the Neredmet police.

According to the Neredmet police, G. Naga Santosh, 22, an employee at a private company in Koti, was a resident of Lakshminagar in Moula Ali. On Tuesday, after work, Santosh and his colleague Aijaiah were returning home on his bike (TS 08 FD 9616). They were riding towards the Sainikpuri crossroads from the Neredmet crossroads.

As they reached Sainikpuri, Santosh lost control and rammed his vehicle into the electric pole. Santosh’s head hit the pole and he suffered a critical injury which caused him to die on the spot. The pillion rider Aijaiah suffered minor bruises. He was treated at Gandhi Hospital and has been discharged, said the police.
