THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: PWD minister G. Sudhakaran has said that the tendering process for the the four- laning between Pravachambalam and Balaramapuram, on Karamana - Kaliyikkavila on NH 66 has been initiated. Rs 111.50 crore has been approved from Kerala Infrastructure Investment Board for the purpose.
So far Rs 266 crore has been provided to land owners on the 5 km stretch between Pravachambalam and Balaramapuram. Only one land owner has not parted with his land, the minister said. At the same time, administrative sanction has been given for Rs 98.1 crore towards land value on the 1.5 km stretch between Balaramapuram and Vazhimukku in Thiruvananthapuram.
