Due to the free education being provided by the government, the enrolment had shot up to 1.73 lakh last year. This year we aim to touch 2 lakh students,” he said.

Girls fared better than boys in both the exams. In the second year general courses the pass percentage of girls was 71 per cent against 61 for boys.In first year, 63 per cent of girls passed while 51 per cent of boys cleared the exam.
