Hyderabad: After a gap of two years, AICC president Sonia Gandhi on Saturday approved constitution of office-bearers, executive committee and coordination committees for the Telangana Pradesh Congress. As per the list released, Mrs Gandhi has cleared the names of 13 vice-presidents to assist TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy.
They include MP Nandi Yellaiah, senior leaders Sabita Indra Reddy, D.K. Aruna, D. Sridhar Babu and Mallu Ravi. Besides, 31 general-secretaries have been appointed, while Guduru Narayan Reddy has been named the TPCC treasurer. Another 35 members have been named to the TPCC executive committee, while 22 leaders have been accommodated as permanent invitees.
Apart from this, the TPCC coordination panel has been recast, making it more broad-based. From the earlier eight members, it will have 31 members now, including Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy, working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Leaders of the Opposition in the Assembly and Council K. Jana Reddy and Md. Ali Shabbir, V. Hanumantha Rao, Ponnala Lakhsmaiah, Damodar C. Rajanarasimha, K.R. Suresh Reddy, G. Renuka Chowdary, Palvai Govardhan Reddy, Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar, M.A. Khan, Gutta Sukhender Reddy, S. Jaipal Reddy, Sarve Satyanarayana, J. Geetha Reddy, Danam Nagender, Marri Sasidhar Reddy, G. Vivek, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, D.K. Aruna, T. Jeevan Reddy and others.
