Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to enhance public support

The devotees were advised to give suggestions and grievances, through email, call centres or through Whatsapp numbers.

Tirupati: TTD JEO B. Lakshmi Kantham directed the officials concerned to undertake repairs and enhance facilities being provided to TTDs deaf and dumb school and S.V. Ayurvedic hospital in Tirupati for the benefit of students and patients.

After inspecting the school, the JEO said steps were being taken to provide better food and safe drinking water to inmates and asked officials to take up repairs and resolve the issue of shortage of sttaff.

He also inspected the training centre where the physically-challenged were being trained as fitters and turners. The JEO told officials to provide sleeping cots. Developmental works of Rs 1.1 crore were taken up at Sri Govindaraja Swami hostel.

After inspecting the S.V. Ayurveda Hospital, the JEO said an additional outpatient ward was being proposed to meet the demand of patients. He urged officials to ensure hygiene and cleanliness at hospital.

At the TTD call centre he said devotees were given correct information on a 24x7 basis on different amenities including time slots available for Sarva darshan, Divya darshan etc.
