Bengaluru: Director General and Inspector General of Police Neelamani N. Raju and City Police Commissioner T. Suneel Kumar appreciated the Girinagar police inspector C.A. Siddalingaiah for his humanitarian gesture of donating blood to a woman stab victim.
On the day of the incident Siddalingaiah was on duty when he was informed about the stabbing incident. He rushed to the spot along with his men only to see the victim bleeding and battling for life. He with the help of his team shifted the woman victim to a hospital for treatment.
When doctor said that the victim immediately needed blood, Siddalingaiah readily agreed and helped save her life.
After hearing about Siddalingaiah’s gesture DG&IGP personally invited him to her chamber and gave a certificate of commendation and a cash reward of Rs 20,000. Ms Raju said such acts bring the best of Karnataka police and this inspector has set a noble example for others to follow.
City Police Commissioner too lauded the inspector’s act and rewarded Siddaliangaiah, Sub Inspector K.L. Vinay, ACP Valipasha and team under with a cash reward of Rs 50,000 for their combined efforts and extending a helping hand beyond their call of duty.
