Drunk man breaches Telangana CM's security
Hyderabad: Chief Minister’s security personnel went into a tizzy after a 35-year-old drunk man caused a security breach in chief minister’s convoy when he stepped out of the line and landed ahead of the on-coming convoy that was heading towards Secunderabad on Friday evening.
According to police, the man, identified as Balaji, a daily wage labourer, was in an inebriated condition. “The security was such that no one was allowed on the road during the convoy movement. However, near Mahankali temple junction in Karkhana, Balaji wandered off the line and stepped on to the main road,” said inspector of Karkhana, B. Janiah.
A traffic policeman and the sub-inspector of Karkhana police station caught hold of him and took him into custody.
According to sources, action could be taken against the sub-inspector for negligence of duty. The CM’s security is equivalent to Z plus security category.
