Hyderabad: After Basara village in Adilabad, the Telangana IT Association (TITA) has adopted Narasingapur village in Nizamabad under Digithon programme to make it as 100 per cent digital literate.
The aim of Digithon was to make at least one person from each of the houses in a village literate in information technology.
The TITA took the assistance of students of IIT-Basara to make Basara 100 per cent digital literate village. IT secretary Mr. Jayesh Ranjan announced Basara as 100 per cent digital literacy village last month.
TITA founder president Mr. Sundeep Kumar Maktala told DC that on Wednesday, they adopted Narsingapur village in Nizamabad district under Digithon.
