The district administration and the city Corporation will arrange for over a 100 tanker lorries.

“We have written to KSEB to try and ensure that there are no power failures during the festival. But should the need arise, we will provide water in tanker lorries to the affected areas,” says KWA PH Division Executive Engineer.

The district administration and the city Corporation will arrange for over a 100 tanker lorries. The EE said that Rs 12 lakhs had been allotted to KWA for festival-related contingencies. He said that around 1,400 new taps were being fitted in Attukal, Chalai, Manacaud and Fort area.
