Won't allow Talasani to visit AP again, says TD
Vijayawada: Telugu Desam leaders were up in arms against the visit of former TS minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and for his comments against the TD government.
TD state general secretary B. Srinivas Yadav warned the TRS leader of dire consequences if he tried to visit AP again.
He alleged that Mr Talasani Srinivas Yadav was levelling allegations against the AP government only to appease TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to get a ministerial berth.
Speaking to mediapersons at the TD office on Wednesday, Mr Srinivas Rao alleged that it was a black day in AP due to the meeting of YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and TRS leader K.T. Rama Rao.
Replying to charges that the AP government was against the Backward Classes, he said there were eight ministers from the community in the AP Cabinet. “The TD is working for the development of BCs through numerous welfare schemes,” he claimed.
Mr B. Srinivas Yadav alleged that the TS former minister had come to AP to create differences among the public in AP and warned that the TD would not allow him to return to the state. He warned that TRS leaders visiting the state could face dire consequences.
AP minister D. Uma Maheswara Rao, TD MLC Buddha Venkanna and other party leaders objected to the meeting of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy with Mr Rama Rao and the visit of Mr Talasani Srinivas Yadav to AP.
