Hyderabad: Congress leader Vijayashanthi extended her support to YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister Y.S. Sharmila, who complained that some social media activists were spreading rumors against her.
Vijayashanthi said, “The culture of spreading rumours against women celebrities should be controlled immediately.”
“Women are anyway suppressed in politics and many other fields. Incidents like this will only push women into depression,” she said.
