Thiruvananthapuram: Police on Wednesday arrested a person in connection with the attack on Institute of Human Resources Development during the hartal organised by Sabarimala Karma Samithi and BJP against the entry of young women in Sabarimala. The arrested has been identified as Moni alias Ajayakumar, 44, son of Mohanan Nair of Jagathi, Kannattemukku.
The hartal was organised on January 3. The glass door on the front side of the institute was destroyed in the attack.
