Changes in land records from March 12, says K Chandrasekhar Rao
Hyderabad: The CM said that the land records purification exercise revealed 93 per cent land records of which 92 per cent of the accounts were undisputed. By the end of February, there would be only one revenue court in the each district in place of present RDO, joint collector and collector’s courts. He said revolutionary changes were coming from March 12 in maintenance of land records.
There was no need of a separate department of registrations as the average registrations in the State were 2,500 to 4,000 per day, of which 60 per cent were in urban areas. He said that in addition to the present 141 sub-registrar offices, 443 mandal offices would also look after registrations.
He said the government would introduce ‘core banking network’ and entries, additions and changes would be made in passbooks of seller and purchaser immediately.
