Rajahmundry: BJP MLA Akula Satyanarayana launched a novel campaign on Friday called 'Our MLA With Us' to visit areas falling under Rajahmundry Urban Assembly segment limits to find out problems being faced by people and help them resolve here. The legislator started his campaign at Division No. 14 where he interacted with people. He came to understand that some developmental works initiated at the division were moving at a tardy pace and instructed the concerned officials to expedite them. Later, he advised the people not to litter public roads and dump garbage in drains as such move would spoil the ambience in the division while causing health problems due to clogged drains that serve as breeding ground for mosquitoes.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that he had taken up the campaign to visit the divisions in the city to know about the problems being faced by the people living in each division and try to address them by talking it up with the concerned officials. He appealed to people to support his campaign and wished to be accessible to them to solve their problems. Later, he advised the people to apply for issue of white ration cards to the revenue authorities with an assurance to get them sanctioned by the government.
