Hyderabad: Many areas won’t get water for 2 days

The board will shutdown water supply to replace a pipeline. It will last from 6 am on Wednesday to 6 am on Friday.

Hyderabad: The Water Board has proposed a 48-hour shut down of supply for residents getting water from the Godavari. This area constitutes a huge swathe of the city.

The board wants the shutdown to replace a 3,000-mm diameter pipeline in relation to the work on the Kaleshwaram project at Kondapaka mandal in Siddipet district.

The shutdown is proposed to last from 6 am on Wednesday to 6 am on Friday.
During the shutdown water supply to the following areas will be affected:

O&M Division VI: Erragadda, Borabanda, Yellareddyguda, You-sufguda, S.R. Nagar, Ameerpet, Banjara Hills, Sanathnagar, Jubilee Hills. O&M Division IX: Kukatpally, KPHB, Moosapet, Balanagar, Bhagya Nagar, Bharat-nagar, Sanath Nagar, area supplied by Borabanda reservoir.

O&M Division XII: Chinthal, Jeedimetla, Shapurnagar, Suraram, Jagadgirigutta, Qut-hbullapur, Petbasheer-abad

O&M Division XIII: Defence Colony, Gou-thamnagar, Prashant-nagar, Chanakyapuri, Malkajgiri, Father Balaihnagar and Alwal

O&M Division XIV: New OU Colony, Kailasagiri.

O&M Division XV: Hafeezpet, Miyapur, Matrusrinagar, May-urinagar, Chandana-gar, RC Puram Patancheru, Bolaram, Mayurinagar

O&M Division XVIII: Nizampet, Pragathina-gar, Bachupally, Bolaram, Ameenpur, Mallampet.

O&M Division XIX: Jawahar Nagar, Balaj-inagar, Keesara, Dammaiguda, Nag-aram, Cheryal, RGK Ahmadguda, De-varyamjal, Tumkunta.

O&M Division XI: NFC, Pocharam, Singapur Township, Moula Ali, Lalapet, Tarnaka
