Hyderabad: Many services like issuing driving and learning licences, vehicle permits and registrations have come to a halt as there was server breakdown due to power fluctuation all through the day at the Road Tranport Department at Khairatabad, Central Zone.
People, who visited the Road Transport Authority (RTA) office to get their work done had to return after a long wait. There were frequent power cuts and when there was power, there were server problems. As most works have become online, the entire work came to a standstill. A transport official at the office mentioned that they had to send people back after making them wait.
Because they were not sure when the situation would be eased.
When contacted, the electricity department said that the glitch occurred due to internal cable failure at the RTA office.
