TALLAPUDI, (WEST GODAVARI): State Prohibition and Excise Minister K. Jawahar on Suday suggested that YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy name his Padayatra as Papa Parihara Yatra (a tour for atonement of sins).
He described Jagan’s family as cheaters family. Addressing Telugu Desam (TD) meeting, held at Gajjiram village, Mr Jawahar made severe criticisms against Mr Reddy and his family members.
“Mr Reddy’s grandfather earned money by robbing people. His father late chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy earned wealth by misusing power. Jagan earned crores of rupees by wrong means. The whole family Jagan cheats,’’ Mr Jawahar said.
He said that Tollywood director Ramgopal Varma who wants to take a picture on late N.T. Rama Rao , should make a picture on Jagan in the name of Jagan 420.
The Minister offered to bear all expenses and to produce the movie, if Mr Varma is ready for it.
He felt that there was no need for Jagan to launch Padayatra as Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has sorted out all problems in the state and is also implementing several welfare schemes for uplifting down trodden sections.
He said Mr Reddy should take up a padayatra for atonement of his family’s sins. He said that the government sanctioned '720 crore towards the development of Kovvuru constituency.
Former minister Kothapalli Subbarayudu called upon TD workers to strive hard for winning all the seats in West Godavari. He asked them to remember the 2014 elections where they won most of the seats beating YSRC in various districts.
