Hyderabad cops clueless about missing student
Hyderabad: Sai Prajwala, an 18-year-old student of medicine at Narayana Coaching Centre, Bandlaguda, reportedly ran away from home leaving behind a letter.
K. Jaganath Reddy, inspector of police Medipally, said, “We have registered a missing case but we are yet to get a clue about her whereabouts. We spotted her leaving her uncle’s house from a nearby CCTV. She had spent the Dussera vacations at Karimnagar and came back to the coaching centre.”
The hostel warden had told the police that Prajwala was not concentrating on her studies and her maternal uncle took her to his house at Medipally. “She went missing from his house. Her uncle realised that she was missing after finding the letter,” said the inspector. She took Rs 2,000 and clothes while leaving the house.
In the letter, she apologised to her parents and siblings. She has written messages for her brother, asking him to do well in the exams. She thanked and apologised to her uncle also.
The college authorities told the police that Sai Prajwala was a below average student who joined coaching in July. The police said that they are looking for clues in Karimnagar.
